Kimberly is passionate about learning, the use of sound on the body, how the mind works and empowering people to step into their authenticity with purpose, clarity & increased awareness.
Kim grew up in Eagle River, Alaska. Her Mom was a single parent, and they moved often. She attended all but one of the elementary schools in the area. They even went "camping" for an extended period, which is one of Kim's favorite memories (though probably not her Mom's). Their longest time in one place was when her Mom remarried (about 5 years), they lived in a beautiful blue house that Kim still dreams about. She had a hypnotherapy session about it, and you can view that here. When Kim was 13, her Mom divorced again and went into a deep depression, leaving Kim and her sisters to fend for themselves. Kim stayed with friends, her older sister and was completely on her own with two jobs in high school at 17, managing to graduate with her class.
Kim's undergraduate degree is in accounting. It wasn't something that she was passionate about, but she thought it could provide the stability and security she craved. Her first job out of college was in accounts receivable at a Chiropractic office. Chiropractic was her first introduction to a holistic approach to wellness. After she and her husband relocated, Kim got a similar position at a hospital. It was stable with tons of room for growth and financial opportunity, but she hated it.
She found herself working in a cubicle in a job she did not enjoy, all to pay for daycare for someone else to raise her kids. Then, she would come home burnt out and too stressed to enjoy the little time she had with them.
"When you know what you don’t want, you learn what you do want." ~ Abraham-Hicks
Kim and her family had stopped going to church when she was very young, so she never had a strong belief system or talked about those concepts in her own home. One day, while driving her 5-year-old son to preschool, she asked, "Do you know who God is?" He responded with a simple "who?". Kim felt a sense of embarrassment and realized she wanted to provide her son with a strong foundation, but she first had to find the truth for herself.
Given her job, which allowed her to be on autopilot with headphones in, Kim decided to use this time to explore her beliefs. She began listening to book after book, seeking answers and guidance. Among the books that provided her with the most support were Eben Alexander's "Proof of Heaven" and Neale Donald Walsch's "Conversations With God." Intrigued by these readings, she went on to delve into as many hypnotherapy books as she could find that involved the spiritual realm. The majority being autored by Michael Newton, Brian Weiss and Dolores Cannon.
Reading about the spiritual realm inspired Kim to take a course by Dolores Cannon called Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). While she enjoyed what she learned, she felt she needed a deeper education in the subject and decided to attend the Hypnotherapy Academy of America. Her initial intention was to use this modality to help others, but what she experienced was a profound journey of self-discovery.
As Kim delved deeper into her own inner world, she began to recognize patterns within herself and realized the extent of her own struggles. She underwent personal sessions, including past life regressions, a natal regression, and multiple traditional hypnotherapy sessions, all aimed at cultivating self-love and nurturing the parts of herself that had felt abandoned.
In her location, Kim didn't have anyone to talk to about what she was going through, her new beliefs, or how to move forward with the wealth of information she had acquired. In response to this, she decided to start her own practice with a new intention: to support others in finding themselves, healing themselves, and moving forward with a stronger connection to their true selves.
In late 2019, Kim happened to come across a book called "Tuning the Human Biofield" by Eileen McKusick. Intrigued, she delved into the book and found herself immediately drawn to the concept of clearing stuck energy in the human biofield and improving energetic flow. She saw this as a beautiful way to support people who either didn't want to talk about their issues or didn't even know what those issues were. In early 2020, Kim took Eileen McKusick's class and was profoundly affected by the experience.
As she began applying her newfound knowledge, Kim worked with numerous clients who reported significant shifts in various ways, validating for her the profound impact of this modality. Her love for sound deepened, and in 2021, she purchased a Harmonic Egg, learning how different instruments could support the body, how specific tones and frequencies could address a variety of issues, and how color could play a role in wellness.
Then, in early 2023, Kim embarked on the journey of learning Vibrational Sound Therapy. She found herself particularly drawn to the balanced, calm, and relaxed state it induced in her, and she witnessed clients floating off the therapy table, reporting positive shifts in their well-being. Sound, as a healing modality, not only supported Kim in feeling less triggered but also enhanced her sense of control, self-awareness, and inner balance.
Kim's personal journey often felt like a lonely road. The most challenging aspect was the sense of isolation, not having anyone to confide in about her experiences. She hesitated to turn to a traditional therapist because she feared their spiritual beliefs might not align with her own, and she wanted to utilize tools that few in her local area had been trained in.
In her journey of exploration and growth, Kim became a pioneer in her community:
Her motivation for pursuing training in these modalities was rooted in her desire to create a safe space where individuals could freely express their beliefs and access supportive tools, regardless of what they aimed to achieve. Kim's intention was to bridge the gap in her community by offering these unique services.
